Team members are the people who can sign in to your Nedzo account. Each member has a role, a set of workspaces they can reach, and permissions that decide which pages they can view or manage. You manage members in two places: Only owners and admins see the Invite User button and the row actions.

Roles

Only the owner can change another member’s role.

Invite a member

  1. Open Settings > Admin > Users and click Invite User.
  2. Enter an Email Address. First Name and Last Name are optional.
  3. Pick a Role: User or Admin.
  4. Under Workspace Access, pick at least one workspace.
  5. For a User, open Permissions and pick what they can view and manage.
  6. Click Send Invite.
The new member gets an email with a link to set their password. They appear in the list straight away. Inviting from Settings > Workspace > Team Members works the same way, with two differences: the member is always invited as a User, and they get access to the current workspace.

Permissions

Permissions apply only to the User role. Admins and the owner can reach everything. Each page has a View switch and a Manage switch.
  • Every switch starts off.
  • Turning on Manage also turns on View. Turning off View also turns off Manage.
  • Click the View or Manage header to switch the whole column.
  • Campaigns has no permission switch. Every workspace member can use it.

Seats

The invite window shows how many seats you use, for example “4 of 5 seats used.” Only members who accepted their invite count. At the limit, Send Invite is turned off. Buy an extra seat for $29 a month under Billing first. See Seats. Unlimited plans show no seat count.

Invite errors

Re-invite someone already on the account

If you invite an email that already belongs to a member of this account, Nedzo does not send a second invite. The invite window says:
<email> is already on this account.
It then offers a Give access to <workspaces> button for the workspaces you picked. Click it to add them to those workspaces. You see “<email> now has access to <workspaces>” when it is done.
  • Workspaces they can already reach are skipped.
  • They get the permissions they already have on this account. Any permissions you set in the invite window are not used. Change them afterwards from the member list.
  • If you didn’t pick a workspace, pick one above, or edit their access from the member list.
  • Send Invite stays off while this panel shows. Change the email to start over.
This is the way to bring back someone who lost access to a workspace.

Change a member’s workspaces and permissions

  1. Open Settings > Admin > Users and click the member.
  2. In the drawer, change Workspace Access and Permissions.
  3. Click Save Changes.
How saving works:
  • Permissions carry over. When you add a workspace, the member gets the same permissions they have in their other workspaces. If they have no workspace right now, they get the permissions they had before. The drawer notes this. Only change the switches if you want something different.
  • Permissions are shared. A User’s permissions apply to every workspace they can reach.
  • Permissions only save when you change a switch, or when you change the member to the User role. Adding a workspace alone keeps their current permissions.
  • You can’t remove yourself from a workspace. Ask another admin to do it.
  • If some workspace changes fail, Nedzo says which ones and why, and does not save the permissions. Click Save Changes again to retry.
The member gets an email each time they are added to or removed from a workspace. Every change is also written to the account’s audit log.

Remove a member from a workspace

  1. Open Settings > Workspace > Team Members in the workspace.
  2. Click Remove on the member’s row and confirm.
They lose access to that workspace only. Their permissions are kept, so if you add them back later they get the same access they had.

Delete a member

To remove someone from the whole account, open them in Settings > Admin > Users and click Delete. They lose access to every workspace. This can’t be undone. You can’t delete the owner or yourself.
