# Delete knowledge

> Delete a knowledge item and remove it from every agent that uses it, through the Nedzo REST API.

<Note>
  This endpoint is for the VIP plan only. Other plans get a `403`. See [Plan access](/api-reference/introduction#plan-access).

Delete a knowledge item. Every agent that uses it stops using it.

If we can't remove it from every agent, you get a `502`. The item stays in the library, but some of its agents may have stopped using it already. Send the delete again to finish.

Answers `204` with no body.

## Path Parameters

## Errors

| Status | When |
| - | - |
| `402` | The account has no plan, or its subscription is not active. |
| `404` | The item does not exist, was already deleted, or is not in your API key's scope. |
| `403` | The workspace is locked. The answer has `workspaceLocked: true`. |
| `502` | We could not finish the delete. The item may still be in the library, and some agents may have stopped using it. Send the delete again to finish. |
