# Take an agent's phone numbers away

> The agent stops answering and calling on every number and caller ID it holds.

  This endpoint is for the VIP plan only. Other plans get a `403`. See [Plan access](/api-reference/introduction#plan-access).

The numbers stay in the workspace. Only the agent lets go of them.

## Errors

| Status | When |
| - | - |
| `400` | `A web agent does not use a phone number.` |
| `404` | `Agent not found`: the agent does not exist, or it is not in this API key's scope |
